Yes. Use a ChatGPT or Claude plan, connect an API key, or point rtrvr at a compatible local model. When your provider handles the model call, rtrvr does not charge model credits for it, and on the free plan nothing counts against the daily Free Mode limit; the sponsored card still appears on the free plan.

You and a friend each receive 1,000 credits once the friend you referred upgrades to a paid plan (or right away if you are already on one). An account can earn credit for up to five referrals. Referral credits never expire and are spent only after the monthly credits on your plan run out.
