FREE MODE

Free to start.
Free to keep using.

Free Mode includes supported AI models and Cloud browser time for tasks you start in the extension or Cloud dashboard. No AI API key or paid AI subscription is required. Sponsored cards and a daily fair-use allowance apply.

Install the extension, sign in, and open a page you want to use. Choose a supported Free Mode model, review the first-run disclosure, and start with one small task.

Allowance, paid features, and data terms

Your account shows the current allowance and reset time. When you reach it, wait for the reset, use your own AI provider, or choose a paid plan. Your provider may charge for its usage.

Schedules, triggers, cookie sync, and Chrome control through API or MCP require a paid plan. Data enrichment and managed proxies can use credits separately.

API and WhatsApp runs use credits for the resources they consume. Chrome control through API or MCP requires a subscription. Free Mode applies to interactive tasks in the extension and Cloud dashboard.

Free Mode in the Chrome extension involves sponsored content. In Cloud, it also includes a license to use anonymized task records and derived products, as described in the Terms and Privacy Notice.

Using your own AI provider avoids model-credit charges and the Free Mode allowance. Cloud resources and managed services may still use credits. Sponsored cards still appear on the free plan. Paid plans offer ad-free runs.

OPTIONAL GOOGLE ACCESS

Google access, only when you ask.

You can install and use Retriever AI without granting Google permissions. Add them later only when a feature needs them.

Every Google permission is optional. Google Sign-In, Drive, and Calendar are separate choices.

Google Sign-In

OPTIONAL SIGN-IN METHOD

Google Sign-In is a convenience option. You can also log in with your email instead, without connecting a Google account.

WHAT IT ENABLES
  • Create and identify your rtrvr.ai account when you choose Google Sign-In
  • Use your Google email and profile for account basics
  • Skip Google Sign-In and use email login instead

Google Drive access

OPTIONAL, INCREMENTAL PERMISSION

The drive.file scope is requested only when you use a Drive, Sheets, Docs, or Slides workflow. It does not let us browse your Drive.

WHAT IT ENABLES
  • Create a Google Sheet for extracted data when you request it
  • Access only files you select in Google Picker or files rtrvr creates
  • Leave every other Drive file private and inaccessible

Google Calendar access

ONLY WHEN CALENDAR MCP IS ADDED

Calendar access is requested only if you add the Calendar MCP server. Signup, install, and normal browser work do not request it.

WHAT IT ENABLES
  • Use read-only Calendar scopes for lists, events, and free or busy status
  • Plan around your schedule after you connect Calendar MCP
  • Never create, edit, or delete events on your calendar

Encrypted in transit

Data sent between your browser and our servers uses TLS encryption.

Minimum access

Permissions are requested only for the feature you choose to use.

Revocable

Revoke access in your Google Account or request deletion at any time.
