We've even added a one-click button in the extension to guide you through generating and configuring your API key (see the video guide above!). If your key hits any limits, rtrvr.ai seamlessly switches to our key (deducting from your credits). When using your own key, a flat rate of just 0.001 credits per call applies.
• Increased Free Tier & Additive Credits: The free tier is now boosted to 100 credits/month! Plus, all credit updates (from referrals, promotions, etc.) will now add to your existing balance instead of resetting it.

🧠 Unleash Super Agentic Powers: Solving for Long-Horizon Tasks 🧠

We've fundamentally re-architected our agent's planning and execution core, pushing its independent, reliable runtime from ~5 minutes to over 30 minutes! This breakthrough allows rtrvr.ai to tackle incredibly complex, long-running research and data processing tasks without losing context or going off track. Here's how we did it:

• Smarter Orchestration: We moved from a single monolithic planner to a Heirarchical Planning model. A high-level "orchestrator" agent manages the overall goal but delegates execution to specialized sub-agents. This prevents context overload and enables more robust, parallel execution across multiple tabs.
• Abstracted Planning: Our planner now generates highly abstract goals for each step and fully delegates the "how" to more capable, generalized sub-agents. This minimizes the number of expensive planning calls, a key factor in extending the agent's reliable runtime.
• Agentic Memory Management: To solve context drift, we now encode the outputs of steps as variables. Instead of hoping the planner remembers data from an early step, it can now directly pass it as a parameter to a later step (e.g., using step2.sheetOutput as an input for step 7). This eliminates context window bloat and ensures perfect data recall.
• New Google Docs Creation Tool: As part of this new architecture, the agent can now effortlessly summarize its findings or report on scraped data by generating a new Google Doc.

• MCP OAuth Support: Now seamlessly authenticate to MCP servers (e.g., https://mcp.paypal.com/sse) with our new OAuth flow launch.
• Expanded Browser Support: rtrvr.ai is now officially supported as an extension for Brave browsers and generally all Chromium-based browsers.
• Reworked Scheduling: Enjoy more granular control with scheduling options for a specific Start Time and frequency (e.g., "Every X Minutes").
• Agentic Tab Group Highlighting: Visually track the agent's activity with highlighted tab groups for tabs it's currently working on (this is why we've requested a new Extension permission, as noted in the update instructions!).
• Enhanced Task History: The Task History Panel now conveniently shows the credit cost per task, as well as links to any generated Google Sheets or Webpages.
